HIKING ALONG THE “SALT ROAD”
GUIDED HIKING TOUR + LUNCH
A hiking tour in the countryside to discover the Salt Road of Volterra, it’s ancient history and some of the city’s most interesting archaeological sites: Roman Amphitheater, Etruscan Necropolis of Marmini, Porta Diana Etruscan city gate.
You will be accompanied by a local hiking guide, who will share fascinating insights into nature and history along the way.
Enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch at Locanda Prato d’Era at the end of your hike.

Incline: 300 m
Difficulty: medium
Time: 3 hours, including breaks
Please wear hiking shoes, bring water and snacks, hiking poles optional.
